About me

My path to this avocation has been long and winding. I have sold lipstick for Lancome, crunched data for the Washington State Police Academy, worked in accounting at Starbucks, and have taught psychology at Central Washington University for the past 10 years.  Every experience has taught me some valuable lessons, some good and some rough, but from the ashes of my past endeavors I have found my calling.to be present for others during really hard times.

I have been a licensed therapist in Washington State since 2014.

I am a lifelong resident of Washington State and have lived on both sides of the mountains.  I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Central Washington University in 2009 and my master’s degree from Seattle University in 2014.  I have volunteered with the King County Crisis Clinic, and I currently volunteer as a therapist with the non-profit organization The Psychotherapy Cooperative, working with clients from underserved populations.  In my spare time, I love lengthy well-planned road trips to National Parks and weekend trips to artistic and spiritual cities.  I spend my evenings embroidering or making small baskets, and I am a longtime fan of true crime.
